David Copenhafer Fan Letter
"'Fan Letter,' which is culled from David's upcoming solo album, is addressed to Jean-Luc Godard. The song refers, either directly or indirectly, to a number of Godard's films from the 1960's including My Life to Live and Masculine / Feminine. The French section in the middle could be translated: "Jean-Luc! I don't like your films; I adore them. Look at me, a child in front of the screen. Kiss me again."
